Aunt Hilary went out of town and asked if we would dog sit Lily for her. Of course the kids were really excited since we have never had a pet. They promised that they would help me all week. Naomi was a bit unsure of the whole thing. At first she would run and cry if Lily would come around. Then she would try to pet Lily when she wasn't looking. Of course the second Lily turned, Naomi would run away. Finally, after a few days Naomi warmed up to Lily and followed her all around petting and hugging her. After Lily left, Naomi walked around the house for a few days calling " Ill-eee" looking all over for her, it was pretty cute. I have to give the kids credit, they kept their word and helped out. They walked her, threw the ball and made sure that she was fed. I am sure after the week was over, Lily was happy to go home to her nice quiet house. Lily is a great dog, quiet, calm and great with kids. Almost wonderful enough to make me reconsider getting a dog, almost, but not quite!
