Sunday afternoon can sometimes get long. After sitting in church for three hours, the kids feel a bit restless. We try to fill the rest of the day with something spiritual and productive. We had some large boxes left over and I decided we should but our brains to some creative use. We decided to build a ship to play in. We ended up making a Pirate Ship and we called it the "Jolly Rancher". The kids made a flag and we even had an anchor that went up and down. I found some ocean noise to play on the computer and it provided a few hours of fun for our little pirates.
