We decided to surprise the kids and take the three oldest to General Conference. Eli had just turned 8 so he was able to go. We woke them up in the morning and told them what we were doing. I had their bags all packed and we went to the airport. We checked in and the agent kind of gave me a funny look. We went through security and to the gate. Nobody was there. I doubled chekced our tickets and realized that we were flying out in the pm not am, oops. We took the kids to school and then came back to the airport that evening. The kids had so much fun flying. That weekend we went to a Saturday Session of General Conference and enjoyed Temple Square. It was such a fun weekend suprise getaway. Hopefully we can do it again!
