Laws To Live By

Last night we were reading the Scriptures and discussing what is meant by "laws". We talked about how it is like a rule to keep us safe. As we were explaining Lauren says, "Ah I know, like at school we have rules. Don't lick things, don't eat the glue." The best part was how she said it very matter of fact, kind of lifting her hands, as if these are the most logical rules everyone should follow. I had to chuckle to myself a bit. Then Keith and I looked at each other, smiled and told her, "Yes exactly like that, those are excellent rules!"
