Merry Christmas

We had another wonderful Christmas this year. My sister and her new baby Claire were able to come out for two weeks and then her husband Hugh was able to join them on Christmas Eve. We were able to do some of our favorite traditions. We went caroling to all of our neighbors. We had a big New Mexican Christmas Eve dinner and then went to look at the luminarios and the lights. Afterwards, we came home and sat by the fire and read from Luke 2. The kids fell asleep by the tree and we later moved them to their beds. Christmas morning we got up and my parents, Hilary, Hugh and Claire came over for breakfast. We opened gifts and that evening we had a big Christmas dinner at my parents house. It was a very nice and relaxing holiday!

Caleb was very excited about his Lego's

Eli giving us his best tough face!

My sister pretty much secured her standing as the coolest aunt ever by getting them this bouncy house for their combined gift. The kids played in it for hours. I think that definitely qualifies it as the gift that keeps on giving!
