Pioneer Celebrations

June and July were crazy months for Keith at work. He had a big project deadline and worked really long hours, like 60-70 a week, to get the work done. We hardly saw him, so when July 21st hit and he made the deadline we were so excited to take a much needed vacation! We headed up to Utah and spent 4 days there. We were really glad to be there for the Pioneer Day celebrations. When we lived there, we loved to go to North Park and participate in all the festivities they have. This year was fabulous! They had the whole Pioneer Village running and they also had all these activities set up for the kids to do. We had an amazing time! I love to honor the Pioneers and their incredible sacrifices for us. Their unwavering faith and devotion is such a great example to me.

You are amazing. Even though you have five kids and getting ready and going to events like that are a bit harder than it used to be, you and Keith still buck up and do it and give your children these fun memories.
