One of the main reasons we came up to Utah, the main reason to see family of course, is to celebrate Pioneer Day. We love to be there to take part in all of the fun festivities. That morning the kids and I went to Pioneer Village with Gayle, Dale, Camille and kids. We spent a few hours doing all the activities for the kids and then checking out the Pioneer Village. As always there was so much to do and see, perfect for family fun! then we came home and rested up a bit for the evening festivities. The extended clan came over for a BBQ and fireworks. It was really nice to see most of the Henricksens and visit with them as well as some long time Kansas friends. The highlight of the evening for the boys is to light fireworks. I like to indulge Keith on this expensive fun because he and the boys have such a great time. This time two sets of neighbors were out as well with all of their fireworks. They had purchased some pretty big pyrotechnics and so we were treated to quite a show!
