This year Caleb chose to have a friend birthday party. We had to have it a few weeks after his actual birthday because it was our only free Saturday between the baptism and other things going on. This party was probably the easiest and the most fun we have pulled off. We did a simple Lego theme. The kids showed up and built Lego cars and then we raced them Pine Wood Derby style. It was so much fun. Then we went out back, the weather was amazing, and the kids played on the bouncy house and trampoline while Keith grilled dinner. The kids ate and then we had cake and ice cream and opened gifts. Then we played some more. Everyone had a blast, including us. Usually I feel completely wiped out after a party but not this time. After that, Caleb went to a friend's birthday party and earlier that day Ella had a birthday party of her friends to attend. It was definitely a party day!
