Trunk Or Treat

This year the ward had Trunk Or Treat on the Friday before Halloween. It is always a big event. We were asked to have some sort of trick for the kids to do before they got their treat. We decked out the back of the van and had music playing and they had to do a little dance. There were probably over 30 cars giving out candy and all sorts of fun tricks. My best guess is that there were about 100 kids there plus parents, it was very well attended. During the week before, we made invitations and got the kids dressed up in their costumes. Then we went around our street and invited all the families with kids to come. We were very happy to have some show up. I think that everyone had a great time and the kids made quite a haul in candy. Of course they were very generous in sharing the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups with me!

Naomi as a bear, she was so cute! You just want to squeeze those cheeks.

So I am not one of those super cool moms who spend weeks making the perfect costume. Nope, I pull out the dress-up clothes and ask them what they want to be. About 30 minutes before we were supposed to leave some of the kids changed their minds ans so we were rounding up things and gathering costumes. The above picture was the final choices.

Leo was a chicken just like Ella! They are so cute!! Naomi is growing and looks adorable in the bear costume. We had a few changing of costumes also from the dress-up pile.

They are super cute!! I think Naomi is getting her own look, at least from the picture she doesn't look as much like the other two girls.
