Party On Wayne

Last night we went to a wonderful dinner party. (I didn't have my camera, hence the stock photo) It was a seminary teacher appreciation dinner, Keith teaches early morning Seminary. It was held at a member of the Stake Presidency's house. He lives in Corrales, a small Village in north Albuquerque. It is really beautiful there with lush green lawns and huge old trees. The dinner was in their backyard and it was so lovely. There were white linens and flowers for the centerpieces. The food was so yummy and and we had so much talking talking with the people at our table. It was a perfect end of summer evening out!

Lauren and Caleb at their friends Bridger and Danen's birthday party.

Caleb and Brooke at Meg's birthday party. We had a fun night with friends, we got to chat and the kids played hard. A good time was had by all.

The back to school swimming party at Sandy's house. Since I had just had Ella, my friends took pity on me and entertained my kids in the pool. They had such a good time.

Our super creative friend Amanda had an Olympics party at her house. She had all these events for the kids to do and they even got medals at the end.

What a neat dinner - that sounds beautiful AND fun! Also, I loved seeing all the birthday party fun, and especially the Olympics party . . . the thought occurred to me about a week AFTER the olympics that something like that would be fun!
